“Professionally and personally, I love writing. And I love applying that skill to internal communications because I want to make the information about the amazing programs that companies offer exciting and accessible.”
Lindsay likes to get her creative juices flowing. Whether it’s contributing articles to music magazines, playing a mean Irish fiddle, or writing engaging benefits communications, Lindsay’s passion for creativity shines through. Top that off with her burning desire to leave everything better than the way she found it, and she’s definitely a gal you want on your team.
Lindsay has been in benefits communications for nearly a decade. Since joining Benz in early 2013, she’s launched three comprehensive benefits websites and produced Adobe’s knock-out HSA enrollment campaign that resulted in a 62% employee enrollment in one year. Her portfolio includes Facebook, Hitachi Data Systems, Adobe, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Additionally, Lindsay helped author the Benz white paper, “6 Steps to Financial Wellness,” and is a frequent contributor to our blog and thought leadership efforts.
Lindsay earned her B.A. in Finance and Communication from Western Washington University. Before joining the Benz team, she spent several years with the Nordstrom benefits team as their communication analyst. In that role, she worked with program owners to understand what employees’ needs were, and crafted engaging communication strategies around wellness, annual enrollment, retirement, and consumer-directed health plans. She also managed the execution of these programs and did most of the writing and editing for them. She has been described as “the perfect blend of art and science.”
