“A great editor and writer knows how to grab the attention of readers, and I’m good at that. I’m excited about editing benefits communications, because it’s such an important aspect of a company’s culture.”
Alisha is a Los Angeles native and an award-winning journalist, whose work has been honored by the L.A. Times. We’re thrilled to have an editor and writer of her caliber on our team.
Once she has her first cup of coffee—which she calls her daily “lifesaver”—Alisha is off and running in pursuit of editorial excellence on behalf of our clients. She brings more than 10 years of experience to her role, which she executes from her readopted hometown of Long Beach.
Known for staying calm under deadline pressure, Alisha has produced first-class copy for a business journal, a trade magazine and community newspapers owned by the L.A. Times—with roles traversing the spectrum from reporter to managing editor. She even comes to us with HR experience, having served a stint in the HR department of a TV station during college!
Outside of work, you’re likely to find Alisha at the beach or park with her children. She also enjoys exploring all the city has to offer. She recently faced her fear of heights, riding a rollercoaster that drops you 40 stories.
If you’re ever in the vicinity of the beach, drop Alisha a line. Just forgive her if she edits your note!
