Benz Communications has been on the leading edge of employee benefits communications for the past decade. Since 2006, we’ve built our unique brand of results-driven, employee-focused communication. We’re dead set on achieving results beyond our clients’ expectations and raising the bar on the industry.
We have had the honor to work with dozens of employers and leading employee benefit providers to get millions of employees engaged in their health and finances. We’ve partnered with employers such as Adobe, Ardent Health Services, Intuit, UC Care, and Toys“R”Us, as well as with leading providers, including UMB Healthcare. We have helped our hometown, the City of San Francisco, communicate employee benefits, and we supported the largest health plan in the country—the Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal Employee Plan—in engaging federal employees in wellness. We’ve taken care to invest in thought leadership, and lend our expertise to solving industry challenges related to all aspects of employee benefits, including health care reform, financial wellness, overall employee well-being—and, of course, benefits communication.
We have supported public health initiatives, including Text4Baby, and developed industry resources such as the Choosing Wisely Toolkit. And we continue to move the industry forward, testifying before the ERISA Advisory Council, presenting at the HR Executive Conference, and contributing to industry press, among other efforts.
As health care reform moved from wishful thinking to a reality, we helped the industry rise to the communication challenges it presented, offering benefits communicators tips for topics, messages, and timing the day after the Affordable Care Act became law.
We wrote the book (literally) on how to use social media for employee benefits communication and have been deploying leading digital strategies throughout our 10-year history. Our Social Media Starter Kit, originally published in 2008, has been used by hundreds of organizations to help them develop a social media strategy.
Since our start in 2006, we have consistently advocated that employers put their benefits information on an outside-the-firewall website, accessible without a password. This barrier-free access means the information is available to dependents at home, too. And today, we only build websites using responsive web design, so that they are optimized for mobile channels as well as laptops and desktops.
Our team provides the unique combination of deep industry knowledge and expertise that’s typical in a large consulting firm, along with the creativity and employee focus of a marketing agency. There’s no campaign too complex, no product too niche, and no benefit too obscure for our team to make a success. See what our diverse and talented experts can deliver for you and your company.
